We made the switch completely to Big Dog BARF around 9 months ago now. We began with the Sensitive recipe, and immediately noticed such a difference in the boys’ coats and how much more content they seemed to be after a meal.

Pablo had some ongoing reflux and some complex lower GI issues, and a Vet suggested a hydrolysed kibble.

In my gut I just knew that wasn’t what was going to be best for Pablo – raw, real food just makes sense to me on a cellular level. So, in knowing that I wanted to continue with Big Dog, I consulted with their customer service team to get some guidance on which options would best suit our needs.

Goat recipe was suggested to us as a single protein option with easy digestibility, a nice “reset” option for Pablo while we got him back on track, along with Big Dog probiotics.

I cannot even begin to articulate the changes in Pablo’s health. He is vibrant and happy, he doesn’t struggle with reflux any more, and his lower GI system is happy and healthy. He is thriving, happy and active!

From the beginning we loved knowing that we could buy the Big Dog BARF and boys would be getting a perfectly balanced, nutritious whole meal that was jam packed with goodness – which is also just ready to go!

In particular, the change in Pablo’s overall health has been undeniable. His coat is shiny, his eyes are bright, he is more active, and there is no more reflux! Both boys LOVE their food, and now that Pablo is doing so well, we have started to introduce more proteins back in with the Wild + Free recipes. Luda is loving the lamb and salmon, and it’s safe to say Pabs loved ALL the options!

I am constantly recommending Big Dog to all of our friends, it’s a no brainer for us – a perfectly balanced, healthy, fresh meal that comes ready to feed… even our dermatologist told us that Pabs is in amazing condition – skin, coat, and overall health.
