Colby, Zucchini & Butters' story
It all started with my eldest, Colby. As a puppy he would vomit and have diarrhoea often. After lots of tests it turned out he is allergic to gluten and some grains. So our journey of learning about dog nutrition started. We mostly fed Ziwi Peak and I started making homemade food. Gently cooked and raw but getting the balance right was sometimes challenging. That's when I found Big Dog. At that point I really analysed ingredients and loved the single protein option and ingredients that I could actually understand.
Now all of my dogs are raw fed, I try to make my own blends to keep things interesting because my 2 youngest can be a bit picky.
But Big Dog is always around when I'm time poor or need something balanced. I even start our pups on it before they go to their new homes and send them home with a box.
