At 9 years old, Ammo was diagnosed with a Mast Cell Tumour which was attached to his thyroid. The vet couldn’t get good margins on the removal, but still attempted it and predicted that the tumour would return.

Ammo’s health declined after surgery, he stopped eating and dropped a lot of weight. We researched and found a fresh food diet would be our best option. Ammo started on Big Dog, which he was happy to eat and he started gaining weight again, his health was better than ever and his blood work was continuously amazing.

Ammo turns 14 this year and he is still happy, healthy and going on 5 years cancer free! When he lost weight and was skin and bone, now, he’s getting older but still as active and healthy as ever!
