About our Supplements

At Big Dog, we understand that nutrition is the foundation of health, and that a healthy diet is the key to this. However, there are situations where dogs need more than just a healthy diet. Very active, working and competing dogs, as well as older pets or pets with specific health challenges may require a little extra help. For this reason, Big Dog has a range of supplements to help keep our extra-needs pets in tip top shape.

Storage and handling

Please store in a cool, dry place below 30ºC. Keep away from direct sunlight.

Store Big Dog Little Bites in a cool dry place and reseal bag after each use to maintain freshness and be sure to use the product by the expiration date. As with all meat items, standard safe hygienic practices should be followed at all times to avoid deterioration and contamination. Ensure all utensils, work areas and hands are thoroughly washed with hot soapy water after being in contact with raw food.

Keep frozen

Be sure to keep raw food portions frozen until ready for thawing.

Defrost properly

Place required portions of frozen raw food in the fridge and allow time for defrosting. If required sooner, place in hot water to thaw but not cook.

Storage and safety

Keep thawed patties in the fridge for no longer than 48 hours and do not cook as our recipes contain bone.

Wash well

Thoroughly wash all utensils, work areas and hands with warm soapy water after contacting raw food.
