Food Technologist

‍The Position 
We are seeking a skilled Food Technologist to join our Quality and New Product Development (NPD) team at our Narangba facility. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in food science and technology, who is passionate about food safety and product innovation.

Key Responsibilites

• Act as a key member of the Quality and NPD team.
• Provide operational coverage within the quality team, including:
• Quality checks
• Product evaluations
• Internal audits
• Raw material and finished product testing
• Assist in new product creation, validation, and commercialisation for products and packaging.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Marketing, and QA/Technical teams to ensure compliance with regulations and maintain the highest standards of quality and food safety throughout the development cycle.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for products and processes.

About You

• Tertiary qualification in Food Science/Technology or equivalent.
• Experience in the pet food industry is highly advantageous with experience in pet food nutrition.
• Highly motivated and self-driven with exceptional attention to detail.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment with a positive, proactive approach.

Salary: $85,000 – $95,000 per year
