Terms and Conditions
Eligibility
This competition is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or older.
Employees of Big Dog Pet Foods, their immediate families, and anyone directly involved in the administration of this giveaway are not eligible to enter.
Participants must:
- Be aged 18 years or older
- Live in Australia
- Have an active Instagram account
- Be able to collect the Big Dog portion of the prize from their nominated Petstock store
How to Enter
To enter, participants must:
- Follow @bigdogpetfoods on Instagram
- Complete and submit the survey
Promotion Period
The competition opens on Monday 12 October 2026 at 12:00pm AEST and closes on Sunday 25 October 2026 at 11:59pm AEST.
Entries received outside of this period will not be considered.
Prize
There will be ten (10) winners.
Each winner will receive:
- 1 x box of Big Dog Pet Foods in a dog or cat recipe of their choice
Prizes are subject to availability and are non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or an alternative prize.
The Big Dog food portion of the prize must be collected from a local Petstock store nominated by the winner.
Winner Selection and Notification
Winners will be randomly selected by Big Dog Pet Foods on Tuesday 27 October 2026.
Winners will be contacted via direct message on Tuesday 27 October 2026 from the official @bigdogpetfoods Instagram account only.
If a winner cannot be contacted within 48 hours, an alternative winner may be selected.
Big Dog Pet Foods will never ask for payment, banking details or personal information beyond what is reasonably required to verify eligibility and arrange prize collection.
Publicity
By entering, participants agree that Big Dog Pet Foods may use their name, Instagram username and/or submitted comments for promotional purposes. This may include announcements on Big Dog Pet Foods’ social media channels, website or marketing materials.
No additional compensation will be provided.
Liability
Big Dog Pet Foods is not responsible for:
- Any injury, loss or damage incurred as a result of entering the competition or accepting the prize
- Technical issues, service interruptions or failed entries outside of our control
Except where required by law, Big Dog Pet Foods will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury arising from participation in the competition.
Big Dog Pet Foods reserves the right to cancel, suspend or amend the competition or these Terms and Conditions where necessary.
Acceptance of Terms
By entering, participants agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
All decisions made by Big Dog Pet Foods in relation to the competition are final.
Privacy
Personal information collected as part of this competition will only be used for the purposes of administering the giveaway, verifying eligibility, contacting winners and arranging prize fulfilment.
Big Dog Pet Foods does not sell personal information or share it with third parties except where required to fulfil the prize or as otherwise permitted by law.
